Not So Silly Walking: KEXP Playlist 08/13/2010

Bonnie Prince Billy & The Cairo Gang was fantastic last week, glad I finally saw the fella. His face and body don't match the music too well, he's so odd, lost, alienlike, and a worse dancer than me (!) but something touchingly genuine does come out of it all. Beautiful show, and glad to hear this song in the set (it was a much better performance than this one below, but I still wanted to include a clip).

Just picked up this at Wall of Sound for $20 (it skips for a tiny bit on one song), apparently a mint one is over $100 according to Ebay, so, yay. Minimal synth (coldwave, if you will) excellence from the USA!
